All the recent earthquakes are good reminders to Southern Californian's to be prepared. This summer take the time to prepare you and your family.
All Newport Beach residents are encouraged to prepare for themselves, their family and their neighborhoods for unexpected disasters. Its as easy as 1, 2, 3...
Step 1: Make a Plan- Develop a family emergency preparedness plan so that everyone in your household knows what to do.
Step 2: Build A Kit- Every household in Newport Beach should have a disaster supply kit with enough supplies for all household members. Click here for step-by-step instructions.
Step 3: Get Trained- Join the Newport Beach Fire Department Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) program this fall to become a certified disaster service worker ready to help the Newport Beach community.
There are two fall CERT training programs: a Tuesday-Thursday evening program that begins on Tuesday, October 5th and an all-day Saturday program that begins on Saturday, October 2nd.
