Newport Beach CERT volunteers are needed to assist with the upcoming "Drill the Skills" class for the summer 2010 CERT program. Information on the assignment is listed below. Only 15-20 CERT volunteers are needed. The summer 2010 "Drill the Skills" is only for participants in the summer program, active graduates are welcome to participate in the next "Drill the Skills" on Saturday, November 13, 2010.
CERT Volunteer needs:
DATE: Thursday, July 15, 2010
TIME: 3:00 PM-9:30 PM
PLACE: Santa Ana Heights Fire Station #7
ASSIGNMENT: CERT volunteers will be assisting with logistical issues and will be "acting" as disaster victims for the triage station. Interested CERT volunteers should bring an extra set of clothes and be prepared to have "disaster" makeup on. Any CERT volunteers that can "makeup" other "victims" are very needed. Please remember this is a special assignment, only 15-20 CERT volunteers are needed and all will serve as "disaster victims" for the triage station.
**Also, please remember that this "Drill the Skills" is only open to participants in the current summer 2010 CERT class. Only respond if you would like to assist as a "disaster victim."
