The City and CR&R Environmental Services (CR&R), the City's main residential trash collection provider, are hosting a compost giveaway on Saturday, April 1 from 9 a.m. until 11 a.m., while supplies last. Newport Beach residents can receive two, free 30-pound bags of organic compost on a first-come, first-served basis.

Where: Auxiliary parking lot at the corner of Fifth Avenue and Marguerite Avenue next to the OASIS Senior Center, 801 Narcissus Avenue, Corona del Mar.
