Newport Beach City Arts Commission presents "Moments Between Oceans," an exhibition by photographer Scott Amling in the Central Library lobby gallery from February 13 through March 24.  The exhibit will showcase a collection of original photography of seashell still life along with shots from the nearby Balboa peninsula to settings farther away like Kauai, Hawaii and Hokkaido, Japan. 

Scott Amling will be on hand at the Newport Beach Central Library on February 22 to discuss his day in Hokkaido, Japan and showcasing three landscape photographs in November 2016, followed by a Q & A. This event is free and open to the public.

Cheese, fruit and refreshments will be served at the reception.
