32nd Street Lane Closures - Lido Village Water Main Project
A City contractor will be replacing existing, deteriorated cast iron water mains, water services, fire hydrants and other related items in the Lido Village area.
Water main work along 32nd Street will begin on May 8, 2017 and last for approximately two weeks. Normal working hours are limited to 7 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday. Various lane closures will be in place.
In order to shorten the construction duration and minimize the impact to the community, traffic restrictions at and adjacent to the work locations will be required on days that work is to be performed. Parking along the frontage of businesses will be closed off. "No Parking, Tow-Away" signs will be posted warning that vehicles parked within the construction area will be towed away the posted days. We request that you observe these restrictions and any other traffic controls in the area.
Exercise caution when driving and/or walking through the construction zones. Additionally, heavy equipment and construction materials tend to attract the interest of small children. Please instruct children to stay clear of all construction activities to avoid the potential for injury. Most importantly, notify us of any problems so that we can respond accordingly. Your cooperation in making this project successful is greatly appreciated.
