The Public Works Department is responsible for the design and construction of the City's roads, intersections, bridges, sidewalks, storm drains and parks while also protecting and maintaining public property.  Public Works adds quality and safety to the community through annual projects to repair, replace, or upgrade City sidewalks, streets, alleys, sewers and traffic signals.

The Public Works Team consists of 35 dedicated full time employees and is comprised of three divisions: Administration, Engineering Services and Municipal Operations.

The Engineering Services Division is further divided into sections including Capital Improvement Program Delivery, Construction Management and Transportation and Development Services.
