Sharpen your test-taking skills with a free, full-length practice ACT. In partnership with C2 Education of Newport Beach, the Newport Beach Public Library will host a free ACT practice test on Saturday, September 15 at 9:30am.
The test will be held in the Vincent Jorgensen Room at the Crean Mariners Branch Library and will last approximately four hours. Students should bring Number 2 pencils, a calculator, water, and snacks to the test. The calculators are needed for better success on the test and help with time management for the math sections. Results will be presented at a separate results program on Tuesday, September 25 at 7pm.
This is a free event but registration is required and space is limited. When you register online, you will receive a confirmation email from noreply@newportbeachca.gov. Please add that email address to your contacts or check your junk/spam mail if you do not receive a confirmation.
Should there be any openings on the day of the test, we will be accepting walk-ins on a first come, first served basis.
Please note that if you signed up on our website for the wait-list and are not contacted about an open space prior to the test day, you will need to come into the library as a walk-in on the morning of the test. The library opens at 9am and we would recommend showing up soon after opening to increase your changes of getting a spot, if some become available.
