Residential Pier Permit Holders are invited to a workshop to discuss rental rates for residential piers over City-administered tide and submerged lands. The workshop will take place on Monday, November 19 from 3:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. in the City Council Chambers located at 3300 Newport Boulevard.
Two recent appraisals show that the recommended rental rates should fall between $0.50 per square foot per year and $0.55 per square foot per year. These rental rates do not apply to piers on private waterways (such as much of Dover Shores and the interior of Linda Isle) or areas that have recorded licenses or easement for piers (such as Promontory Bay).
