All NEW Project Adult Literacy Tutors & Volunteers are required to complete an online Orientation and attend two in-person Tutor Training sessions*. The Online Orientation and application must be completed before attending the training sessions and registration is required.
The Online Orientation can be found at: http://bit.ly/NMPLVolunteerOrientation. Please fill out the Tutor/Volunteer Application, which can be found at the end of the online orientation.
*Completion of two (2) three and a half-hour Tutor Training sessions are required for certification.
Session 1 is Wednesday, March 27, and Session 2 is Thursday, March 28. Both sessions will be held from 10a.m.-1:30 p.m. in the Newport Beach Central Library Friends Meeting Room.
Pre-registration is required and no one will be admitted without a reservation.
