Item 1:             Verizon Wireless – Telecom Permit No. TP2007-012 (PA2007-200)

20661 Newport Coast Drive

 

The Planning Director approved Verizon Wireless requests to install a wireless telecommunications facility on a new streetlight pole located in the public right-of-way on the west side of Newport Coast Drive, south of the traffic signalized intersection at the access road to the Laidlaw Gas Recovery Facility.

Item 2:             Susan Sarich – Planning Director’s Use Permit No. UP2007-026 (PA2007-218)

2043 Westcliff Drive, Suite 104

 

The Planning Director approved the applicants request to allow the introduction of take-out limited food service use as a retail bakery specializing in custom cakes and similar baked goods for off site consumption. The facility will provide interior seating for up to 6 patrons. The property is located in the Retail Service Commercial (RSC) District.

APPEAL:

For Item 1, The Planning Director’s decision may be appealed to the City Council within 14 days of the action date. The City Council’s action on appeals shall be final. A $340 filing fee shall accompany any appeal filed. No building permits may be issued until the appeal period has expired.

 

For Item 2, The Planning Director’s decision may be appealed to the Planning Commission within 14 days of the action date. A $600 filing fee shall accompany any appeal filed. No building permits may be issued until the appeal period has expired.
