The Newport Beach Arts Commission hosts free summer concerts on the Civic Center Green. Bring low chairs or a blanket. Pack a picnic or buy food from food trucks. No alcohol allowed. Admission and parking are free, first come, first served.  

Unless otherwise noted, all concerts are held on the Newport Beach Civic Center Green* (100 Civic Center Drive, Newport Beach). Admission and parking are free, on a first come, first served basis.

 2026 SUMMER CONCERT SERIES

REDNECK RODEO

July 19, 2026, 6:00-7:30 p.m., Civic Center

Calling themselves the “America's country band,” Redneck Rodeo brings the heart of country music alive onstage with energetic performances. Wearing custom cuts each member owns his own flavor of renegade. Wrangling through the top country hits of the last six decades, their sets get the crowds singing and dancing in true honky-tonk fashion.

 

 

PACIFIC SYMPHONY: SYMPHONY IN THE CITIES

August 9, 2026, 6:00-7:30 p.m., Civic Center (Musical Playground starts at 5 p.m.)

Symphony in the Cities brings thousands of people together for great music and entertainment in local parks each year. With a potpourri of popular classics, pop tunes, and patriotic tunes, these concerts invite the audience to participate in a sing-along of patriotic favorites. A pre-concert Musical Playground features many interactive and hands-on activities for children, including instrument making and a drum circle. And-back each year by popular demand-kids have the chance to learn how to conduct with the maestro and later help lead the orchestra in Sousa’s “Hands Across the Sea” during the concert.

 

FLASHBACK HEART ATTACK

September 13, 2026, 6:00-7:30 p.m., Civic Center

Flashback Heart Attack is an award winning, highly specialized 80s tribute with the uncanny ability to captivate audiences taking them on an immersive musical journey. It’s high energy, crowd engaging, memorable fun for all ages with a look and precision sound that is second to none. Hired by and the guilty pleasure of Grammy winners, Oscar Winners, Hall of Fame members, Superbowl and Hockey Champions and many others..

Diego's Garage is Orange County, California’s hottest high energy 90s alternative and rock band playing your favorite tunes from Nirvana, Green Day, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Pearl Jam, Weezer, Blur, Stone Temple Pilots, REM, Lit, Blink-182, Social Distortion, Sublime and more.
