Candidate Statement:

I’m running for City Council because I want to make sure my kids get the same chance to grow up in the great community that I did.

That starts with keeping Newport Beach safe. Sheriff Don Barnes, as well as our Firefighters and Lifeguards endorse my campaign because they have seen the work I’ve done on the school board to increase the number of Safety Officers protecting our children.

Drawing on my experience as a businessowner and School Board member, I have a deep understanding of what our community values and how to effectively manage our city. While serving on School Board, we received our 9th Blue Ribbon status for academic excellence.

As a councilwoman, I will prioritize:

        Fighting back against unsafe and unfair policies from Sacramento that disrupt our quality of life
        Pushing hard to dramatically reduce homelessness
  Protecting taxpayer funds and opposing efforts to raise your taxes

Newport Beach is a special place to live. Our community deserves strong and effective leadership that is committed to keeping our city safe and prosperous.

I’m proud to be endorsed by Mayor O’Neill and Mayor Pro Tem Stapleton, Councilmembers Grant, Blom, Avery, and Weigand.
