Energy Action Plan (EAP)
City of Newport Beach Energy Action Plan (EAP)
The goal of the EAP is to provide a roadmap that the City can follow on our path to becoming a more sustainable community and reducing our energy consumption and greenhouse gas emissions.
Our long term vision for energy efficiency focuses around the following objectives:
-
Reduce the City’s carbon footprint and its adverse effect on the environment.
-
Conserve energy at the local government facilities.
-

The EAP includes energy audits from the City's major facilities and identifies more energy efficiency opportunities.
