On Monday, March 4th at 6:30 pm at the Newport Beach Central Library Friends Room, Newport Beach Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) volunteer Richard Eimers will give a special presentation on his CERT deployment to Butte County to assist with the recovery efforts from the Paradise Fire. Richard was deployed for seven days with two travel days for a total of nine days. This was the first statewide activation of every CERT program in state history. This event is open to all Newport Beach residents that are interested in community preparedness. You do not need to register to attend.
