Public Information Office
The Public Information Office is responsible for the timely dissemination of information about the City of Newport Beach to the news media and community. The division oversees media relations, community outreach and communication activities for the departments within Newport Beach City Hall and works closely with the public information officers in the City’s Police, Fire and Library Departments.
The Public Information Office also manages operations and oversees all programming for NBTV, the City’s government access cable TV channel (shown on Spectrum 3 and Cox 852). NBTV produces original programs, airs City Council and Planning Commission meetings, and contains a community bulletin board. NBTV programming can also be viewed through the City website.
The City is active on many social media platforms. We welcome you to engage with us.
