The County of Orange has prepared a Draft Program Environmental Impact Report (EIR) for a proposed update of general aviation facilities at John Wayne Airport. The draft EIR is out for a 45-day public review and comment period, which began on September 20, 2018 and ends on November 6, 2018. City staff is reviewing the Draft EIR for potential impacts to Newport Beach.

The County will hold a public meeting on the Draft EIR at 5:30 p.m. on September 26, 2018 at the John Wayne Airport Administrative Offices, 3160 Airway Avenue, Costa Mesa, CA.
