City Council Meetings
The City Council generally meets twice each month to review, direct and legislate on matters of land use, finance and general governance. Meetings are held in the City Council Chambers, located at 100 Civic Center Drive, Newport Beach. View the City's online calendar for meeting information.
Meetings are televised live and repeated on a regular basis on NBTV (see the NBTV weekly schedule). The meetings are also streamed live.
For frequently asked questions about City Council Meetings, read our City Council Meetings 101.
In addition to attending City Council Meetings, Councilmembers also serve on committees, including some with community members, to review specialized areas and make recommendations to the full City Council.
