Candidate Statement

Newport Beach is my hometown. Supporting our community is the foundation of my career which centers on understanding complex problems, asking people to share their perspectives and building coalitions to find the best solutions.

I started organizing Town Hall meetings when I was studying Sociology in college and serving Italian food at my parent’s restaurant in CDM. For eight years, I’ve managed voter registration teams, managed ballot measure campaign offices, and I’ve worked for multiple humanitarian nonprofit groups. I learned how to follow. I’m ready to lead.

My campaign is about pushing back on airport expansion, removing pesticides from our playgrounds and sports fields, preventing mooring rate hikes in the harbor, protecting our coastal communities from rising sea levels, supporting our police, helping the homeless, improving the current plans to build affordable housing and defending women’s rights to reproductive healthcare. My campaign is about you.
