2020 Newport Beach Art Exhibition Dates Announced
The Newport Beach City Arts Commission recently announced that the 56th Annual Newport Beach Art Exhibition will be held on Saturday, June 20, from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. at the Newport Beach Civic Center.
The annual exhibition features recently created original artwork in various mediums, including oils and acrylics, watercolor, charcoal, pen and ink, sculpture, photography and mixed media. Last year over 300 pieces from 170 artists were showcased at the beautiful Newport Beach Civic Center location, an open modern venue where guests can enjoy a festive atmosphere of art, music, food and wine. The Call for Entries will be announced on this website in late January 2020.

The 55th Annual Newport Beach Art Exhibition was held on June 15, 2019 at the Newport Beach Civic Center. The one-day juried event brings artists and art lovers together for an afternoon of fine art, music and fun courtesy of the City Arts Commission. The 2019 Juror was Cassandra Coblentz, Senior Curator and Director of Public Engagement at the Orange County Museum of Art.

Congratulations to the 2019 Award Winners
The Newport Beach City Arts Commission would like to extend a big Thank You to all of the artists, attendees, volunteers and supporters who helped make the 55th Annual Newport Beach Art Exhibition such a success. It was the largest showing ever for this annual events with 170 artists showing 308 pieces of original artwork. We are also very pleased that the number of works sold exceeded past years, which is a credit to the caliber of art and the appreciation by the attendees.

The Newport Beach City Arts Commission is pleased to announce the award winners at the 55th Annual Newport Beach Art Exhibition held on June 15. The one-day juried event, held at the Newport Beach Civic Center, featured over 300 works of art by 170 artists from throughout Southern California. It was the largest show in the exhibition’s 55-year history. Awards were presented by City of Newport Beach Mayor Diane Dixon for first, second, and third place winners in the categories of Watercolors (including pencil and charcoal), Oils and Acrylics, 3D Art (sculpture and mixed media) and Photography.

The Committee for the event included Chair Arlene Greer and Arts Commissioners Marie Little and Miriam Baker.
