On behalf of the City of Newport Beach, the Newport Beach Fire Department and the Marine Operations Division,

Thank you to all who came to the memorial paddle out and celebration of life to honor our fallen Lifeguard Ben Carlson.  The love and support of the community and others during this time has been overwhelming and appreciated.  The below video is from the July 13, 2014 paddle out and celebration of life.
