Art Week

The City of Newport Beach is launching its first-ever Art Week, a celebration of creativity, culture, and community. From exhibitions to live performances to classes across the city, Newport Beach Art Week will spotlight the artistic talent and cultural energy that connects with our community.

The 2026 Art Week will take place from Sunday, August 9, 2026, through Saturday, August 15, 2026. The City Arts Commission will kick off this celebration of the arts with a summer concert on Sunday, August 9 from 6-7:30 p.m. and end the week with the 59th Annual Newport Beach Art Exhibition, a juried art competition. Both events will take place at the Newport Beach Civic Center (100 Civic Center Drive, Newport Beach 92660).

We welcome local businesses, organizations, galleries, or cultural institutions located in Newport Beach to host art events during our inaugural Art Week. If you are interested in having your event listed on the Cultural Arts webpage, please fill out the Art Week Participation Interest Form and email your completed form to vmoore@newportbeachca.gov.*
