What did you like or not like about the cover? Did the cover reflect the contents? 

I wouldn't say that the cover represents the book. The only thing that gives a reference to the book is the crown on the front cover other than that there isn't anything that reflects the book. I do like the cover though the colors go well together and even if it's simple it is still pretty.

 Your review / Summary of the book that will make other teens want to read it. 

The book is really easy to read and to get into. Jude is an amazing example of an unlikable female character. She is not someone you would normally like but I love her ambitions and her ruthlessness and it is not something that the main female character is in most fantasy books which is why this book is unique and great. That is the main reason why I love Jude she does not let anyone tell her what to do and I admire her for it. The book is very different from other fantasy books. The persons in the book are really unique, they are all different and they are not all pretty like most fantasy characters are in other fantasy books. Which is why I highly recommend this book. It was really fun and enjoyable to read it.

Describe the most compelling aspect of the book. 

The most compelling part of the books must be how different it is. It's a fantasy book with a lot of fantastical creatures but they don't all just look beautiful with golden hair and pretty pale skin. Every side characters or even main characters are really different. Some have horns, some have pink or blue skin, some have snake-like features and more. That is why I find this book really interesting. It's very different from how other fantasy books are.

Were you disappointed with the book for any reason? If so, what was disappointing?

One thing I would say I was disappointed in was that the first book was kind of slow, not much happened. They mostly described the world and the backstory as well as describing the other characters. So not everyone would like this book if you like when books start strong and that there is always something happening that might not be the book for you. But over the majority it was a great book and I really enjoyed reading it. And even if the first book might be slow at the beginning it does get faster in the end and in the two other books. It becomes a more fast paced book. But that is the only thing that is a little disappointing in the book. Other than that, like I said it's a great book.

Did you finish the book? 

Yes I did finish reading the book. It was really interesting and I really liked how different and unique it was.

How would you rate this book? 

I would rate this book a 4.5. I wouldn't rate it a 5 because I have read a lot of books and even if it was good and that I highly recommend it I have still read better books in my experience.
