Councilmember Sara Weber (2028)
Councilmember Sara Weber was elected to the Newport Beach City Council in November 2024.
Born and raised in Newport Beach, Sara is committed to ensuring the safety and fiscal stability of the City she has always called home.
Sara attended Our Lady Queen of Angels School and Corona del Mar High School before earning both undergraduate and graduate degrees in Accounting from the University of San Diego. She spent 15 years with a prestigious Big Four accounting firm in Orange County before co-founding a local accounting firm with her husband, serving clients across Newport Beach and California.
Beyond her professional career, Sara serves as a board member and treasurer of the Newport Beach Fire Foundation, supporting the City's fire services and public safety initiatives. Her previous roles include serving as a Park, Beaches, and Recreation Commissioner and completing the Citizens Police Academy and Distinguished Citizens Program.
As a mom raising two daughters in Newport Beach with her husband, Sara is deeply invested in protecting our children and fostering a thriving community for future generations.
