The Orange County Humane Society and the City of Newport Beach will host a ribbon-cutting ceremony to mark the official opening of animal shelter services for Newport Beach. The Newport Beach Police Department began using the Orange County Humane Society services on May 1.
In addition to the ribbon-cutting ceremony, there will be a licensing clinic, shelter tours, vendor booths, a raffle, and a pet and food supply drive. In an effort to encourage animal adoptions, the Humane Society will be offering adoption specials between the hours of 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. Event Information
