On Monday, August 21, the moon will slip in front of the sun in a rare celestial moment that won't take place again in North America until 2024. A partial eclipse will occur in Newport Beach at 10:21 a.m., but Newport Beach Public Library will be live streaming coverage from NASA as the eclipse travels across America from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. (Pacific Time).
