The Newport Beach Police Department is hosting a free dog licensing clinic on Saturday, November 5, between 9 a.m. and and 1 p.m.
Dog owners must bring proof of rabies vaccination in order to obtain a dog license. In addition to dog licensing, animals will be available for adoption, rabies vaccinations will be available for $8, and pet owners can microchip their animals for $26.
Animal Control Officers strongly encourage all pet owners microchip their animal to insure your pet can be returned to you quickly in the event it becomes lost. For more information, please contact Animal Control Officer Valerie Schomburg at 949-644-3745.
