Calendar Meeting List

The Newport Beach Public Library hosts outstanding classical and instrumental music and performers throughout the year. The monthly hour-long Sunday Musicales are held at 3 p.m. in the Friends Meeting Room at the Central Library. Admission is free.

Pianist Victor Shlyakhtenko, winner of the 2018 Los Angeles International Liszt Competition and Lang Lang Foundation Young Scholar alumnus, presents a solo piano recital featuring the monumental B minor sonata of Franz Liszt.  Also on the program are works of the romantic era and early 20th century.
