In honor of National Volunteer Appreciation Week, we want to celebrate YOU and our amazing Literacy Community. You have given your time to help others; to assist in tackle one of society's greatest challenges...improving literacy. America is currently facing a literacy crisis with about 130 million adults reading at a 6th grade level or below and a literacy crisis impacts all of us. Because our society and economy are connected illiteracy impacts our healthcare, job employment, education and ultimately, our community.
