Written comments for City Council consideration may be submitted to the City Clerk at cityclerk@newportbeachca.gov by Monday at 5:00 p.m. before the meeting. Comments received by this deadline will be included in the agenda packet and available online.
Materials received after the deadline and before 2:00 p.m. on the day of the meeting will be provided to the City Council in hard copy and made available to the public at the meeting.

The City Council and most City boards, commissions, and committees are subject to the Ralph M. Brown Act, ensuring the public’s right to attend and participate in meetings.
Agendas, minutes, staff reports, and related materials are managed by individual departments.

Council Member Brenner’s Town Hall

Join Newport Beach City Council Member Joy Brenner for her first town hall meeting on Saturday, October 26, at 9 a.m. at the Corona del Mar Fire Station.

Speakers will provide information on:

  • Proposed Changes to Short-term Lodging
  • Proposed Residential Design Standards
  • City’s Efforts to Address Homelessness
  • Proposed Water Rate Increases
  • Buck Gully Fire Hazard Zone
  • Utility Undergrounding
  • City’s General Plan Update
  • Shopping Locally

Representatives of the Corona del Mar Chamber of Commerce and the Corona del Mar Residents Association will also be present to share information about their respective organizations. 

The meeting is free and open to the public. The Corona del Mar Fire Station is located at 410 Marigold Avenue, Corona del Mar.
