The Newport Beach Public Library hosts outstanding classical and instrumental music and performers throughout the year. The monthly hour-long Sunday Musicales are held at 3 p.m. in the Friends Meeting Room at the Central Library. Admission is free.

An ensemble comprised of five prominent artist-educators from Southern California, Syrinx Quintet boasts versatile and diverse programming aiming to expand reed quintet repertoire in an educational context. Experienced in a wide variety of styles, the ensemble delights audiences with their eclectic repertoire and dynamic performance style. Advocates for education and local engagement, Syrinx takes pride in commissioning new works from Southern California composers.
