Join us for a fun-filled morning of bug-themed activities with a special storytime that celebrates the season. The storytime will be followed by bug-inspired yoga, where kids can stretch, bend, and twist like the creatures we’re celebrating and engage in nature-inspired movement. Afterward, explore the children's room with a bug-themed I Spy and unleash creativity with butterfly and ladybug-themed crafts to take home. To top it off, we’re giving away milkweed and wildflower seed planting kits, providing everything you need to start your own butterfly-friendly garden at home, perfect for helping to Make Way for Butterflies in your own backyard. Finally, we’ll all walk together to the Civic Center Sculpture Exhibition, where we’ll release our flying garden creatures into the wild. Don’t miss this celebration of nature as we watch these incredible insects take flight.
Materials are available while supplies last. Children must be accompanied by an adult. No registration required. Ages 0-5.
