The Newport Beach Public Library will kick off the 2010 Summer Reading Program beginning June 26. The program encourages reading and regular visits to the library with weekly entertainment and game sheets for children, book reviews for adults and teens, and lots of prizes for everyone!
The Children’s Summer Reading Program will run from June 26 to August 13 with the theme “Make a Splash, Read!” Children can register in the Children’s Department at the Central Library, and Balboa, Corona del Mar and Mariners branch libraries. Special programs, featuring animal shows, magicians, puppets, and crafts will be held regularly at all locations throughout the seven week program.
