The Newport Beach Public Library continues its series of What’s Cooking at the Library with Chef Cathy Thomas on Tuesday, July 20 at 7 p.m. in the Central Library Friends Room, 1000 Avocado Avenue, Newport Beach
Cathy Thomas, a well-known food writer, on-air host and author of two books, will show guests how to make some irresistible main course salads that are perfect for summer entertaining. Her quick-to-prepare recipes showcase flavorful ingredients, relying on fresh fruits and vegetables to make each dish colorful and delicious. Guests will enjoy sampling all of her creations at the end of the program.
Attendees at this event will also have the opportunity to participate in Priority Registration for the October What’s Cooking at the Library with Chef Dave Martin from Bravo TV’s Top Chef Season One.
These events will be held in the Friends Room at the Newport Beach Central Library. Space is limited and reservations are required. A fee of $20 will be charged to cover the cost of food.
