Arbor Day Celebration
On November 9th the City will celebrate it's 20th year as Tree City USA with 4th, 5th, and 6th grade students at Mariners Elementary. The students will hear an Arbor Day presentation on the importance of trees by Parks & Trees Superintendent Dan Sereno and Urban Forester John Conway, followed by the opportunity to plant several trees at nearby Mariners Park.
