Join us for Newport/Mesa ProLiteracy's annual fundraising event. This adult literacy program is a service of the Newport Beach Public Library.
This year, the guest speaker at Newport/Mesa Pro Literacy’s annual luncheon is featuring Janelle Brown, New York Times best-selling author of the novels Watch Me Disappear, All We Ever Wanted Was Everything, and This Is Where We Live. Her essays have appeared in The New York Times, Vogue, Elle, Wired, Self, RealSimple, Lenny, The Los Angeles Times and many other publications.
Ms. Brown will be introducing her latest book, Watch Me Disappear, a page turning story about the disappearance of a beautiful, charismatic mother and the unraveling of mysterious family secrets.
