Social Security and You Seminar
When the Social Security Act was first introduced, the average retirement period was about 10 years. According to the U.S. Census Bureau, the proportion of the U.S. population eligible to collect Social Security doubled, from just over 6% to 12% from 1940 through 2008. Fast forward to today and over 40 million people over the age of 65 are receiving benefits. Understanding social security and how to maximize your benefits is important to all retirees. Join us as we go over how social security impacts your retirement.
