Community Barbecue and Safety Fair
The Newport Beach Police Department invites you to join them on Tuesday, August 6 from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Bonita Canyon Sports Park for a Community Barbecue and Safety Fair. The Police Department will be providing information on Drug and Alcohol Prevention, Home Security, Child Safety, Crime Prevention, the Citizens Police Academy, and Volunteers in Policing. We will also have C.S.I., S.W.A.T., Animal Control, Mounted Patrol, and Canine Officers at the event. There will be photo opportunities for the kids in both a police car and on a police motorcycle, and with a horse from the Mounted Patrol. There will also be a visit from McGruff, “The Crime Fighting Dog."
