The Newport Beach Public Library presents The Jazz Brothers in the first of a series of Sunday Musicales to be held at the Central Library. Led by Chapman Conservatory of Music faculty members Gary Matsuura, who plays alto saxophone, flute and clarinet, and Albert Alva on tenor saxophone, the Jazz Brothers ensemble will also feature pianist Ron Kobayashi and bassist Jack Prather in a program of swinging and melodious original jazz compositions.
This event is funded by generous donations from the Friends of the Library. Admission is free. Seating is limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis.
