Celebrate Your Library!
The Newport Beach Public Library will celebrate National Library Week, April 10-16, with special programs for children and adults. National Library Week is celebrated across the country each April to honor the contributions of our nation’s libraries, to promote library use and support, and encourage reading.
Highlights of the Newport Beach’s week long celebration include the following:
Monday – Thursday: Storytimes with Local Leaders
Tuesday: Silly Science Show at Central
Wednesday: Animal Tales and Musical Scales at Balboa
Thursday: Wildlife America at Corona del Mar
Friday: Distinguished Speaker Lecture Series with author Dave Eggers
Saturday: Puppets and Magic at Mariners Distinguished Speaker Lecture Series with author Dave Eggers
Sunday: Sunday Musicale with Haberdashery Ensemble
